Cement Integrity

EPIC® (Essential Products for Integrity and Containment) provides custom inflatable and swellable packer systems that reduce remedial cementing and prevent sheath issues for superior well integrity and protection. 

Primary Cementing
Cementing ensures annular isolation, directing hydrocarbon flow to engineered locations and protecting groundwater from contamination. Analyzing operational parameters and well data determines the best combination of products for reliable isolation. 

Secondary Cementing
TAM’s Casing Annulus Packer (CAP), TAP-OUT Hydraulic Cementer and Port Collar (PC) system ensures high-quality second-stage cementing. Inflating the CAP eliminates fluid migration and provides hydrostatic support to reduce rig time. TAM's full suite of cementing solutions includes Elastomeric seals through Metal-To-Metal seals for the most challenging applications.

Well Integrity Testing

For integrity testing or regulatory compliance, TAM offers highly reliable and flexible equipment. Our multi-set inflatable packer systems are suitable for both cased and open-hole applications. TAM's inflatable packers can be set inside unsupported pipes, like risers or surface casings, without damaging the interior wall. Our high-expansion ratio packers ensure flexibility and reliability for even the toughest process requirements.

Drill Stem Testing

Drill stem testing consists of running a suite of tools on the drill pipe and isolating a section of the open hole to evaluate the well. TAM provides custom-engineered packers for dependable and efficient testing.

Sidetracks/Temporary Abandonment

TAM inflatable Bridge Plugs are used in open holes as a base for cement plugs for sidetracking or temporary abandonment. This improves cement plug quality by eliminating fluid migration and loss. Inflatable plugs are more flexible and have lower abandonment costs than mechanical-set plugs.

Well Control/Drilling Optimization

TAM offers a range of tools to isolate sections of the wellbore and enable squeeze cementing, improvements in circulation, and annular barrier creation. The multi-set TAM-J provides superior consistency, and TAM’s swellable FREECAP® system can be designed for use in many different situations.

Gas/Water Isolation

Unwanted gas and water production in an oil well has been a long-standing industry challenge. TAM swellable and inflatable packers provide effective wellbore isolation or staged cementing. Packers segment the well into multiple productive zones to ensure secondary protection against flow in the annulus and give the operator options when remedial operations are required to shut off unwanted gas or water production.

Zonal Isolation

Swell Packers
FREECAP® is a line of engineered packers that swell on contact with wellbore fluids. Swell packers are highly reliable and require no inflation or manipulation to seal, eliminating risks associated with mechanical tools.

Inflatable Packers
Multi-set inflatable packer tools are used for testing and treating open- and cased-hole completions. Single-set inflatable packer tools, available in permanent and retrievable versions, are ideal for bridge plug and production applications.
